WHY THE ∫?
A name born from the integral.
Instegral takes its name from the integral. The ∫ in place of “s” represents the idea at the heart of integration: small pieces, accumulated over time, becoming a whole.
A SMALL MATHEMATICAL IDEA
Small parts. Accumulation. A whole.
In mathematics, integration accumulates small quantities to understand a whole. The area under a curve is one familiar example: countless narrow pieces are added together until they form one continuous shape.
The equation is not the point. The idea is: what seems small can become meaningful through accumulation.
